Week 21: And They Lived Happily Ever After

Valentine’s Day is coming up, which means hearts, flowers, and the gushy feelings of looooove. (Or, maybe you’re not a fan, and Valentine’s Day means more angry feelings, sarcastic eye rolls, and pints of Ben and Jerry’s.)

Whether you’re a hopeless romantic or cold-hearted, you might choose to watch a movie or TV show that has main characters in love. Even though we know they aren’t real, we still root for our favorite couples. Peter and Oliva! (Fringe) Charlie and Claire! (LOST) Jim and Pam! (The Office).

What TV or movie (or book!) couple do you root for? Why do you think you enjoy their love story so much? Is it a realistic love story? How did they meet? Tell me about their relationship!

Week 20: Family in a Nutshell

My family is as crazy as anyone else’s. My mom worries too much about the strangest things, my dad is pretty chill, my sister is a social butterfly, and my brother is the funniest person I know. There are tons of funny stories and quotes from the Hudson household, many involving faces that smell like grilled cheese.

For this week’s blog, I’d like you guys to choose 5 pictures that would describe your family as a whole (or, those that you most identify as being your family group). They could be pictures that relate to inside jokes, or pets, or that one time you broke something expensive….anything at all. Just be sure to explain your picture choices a bit!

Week 19: That Cat Has the LIFE

My family has always spoiled our cats rotten, and I completely envy them. In my next life, I’d love to be a cat. Curl up in the sun and sleep all day? Sounds wonderful to me!

If you could come back as an animal in a second life, what animal would you want to be? Why that animal? Is there something that this animal can do that you think you’d really enjoy?

Week 18: Happiness Is...

Sometimes it’s the little things that put the biggest grins on our faces.

Me, I get ridiculously excited over cats, polar bears, morbid things, cool looking blue things, music, Harry Potter, thunderstorms, and LOST, among others.

What makes you really happy or always puts you in a good mood?

Week 17: My Life as a Reality TV Show

One of the big TV networks is interested in showing the life of a teenage senior in high school the way things REALLY are. And you’re in luck-they’ve chosen to follow you!

What types of things might you have to teach the country about high school seniors? Would you try to make your life more interesting to help increase your ratings, or would your show tell it how it is?
